About me

Photographer Krakow

I started my adventure with photography in the late 1990s as a photojournalist, working mainly at press conferences for film premieres. In the meantime, I was also involved in graphics, website creation, marketing, DJing, and even writing a prospectus as a board member of an IT company. Eventually, however, I longed for photography and the freedom associated with this profession and decided to return to my former passion. This time I focused on broadly understood portrait photography, advertising photography, artistic action photography and reportage. Soon I added women’s and sensual sessions to the offer. – I invite you to a special website

I am a winner of many photography competitions (more on this topic here) and a member of numerous photographic communities and associations, as well as an active user of photography portals. I also share my passion with others – I run photography workshops in both Polish and English.

I also share my knowledge as a teacher:
– I teach photographic techniques at the Tischner’s High Technical School in Limanowa
– I conduct classes on posing and building a portfolio with students of the Faculty of Acting of the Krakow Academy
– I am implementing a grant from the Małopolska Voivodeship entitled „Lessons about photography” in secondary and primary schools throughout the province

I love working with people

The key word in my understanding of photography is PEOPLE. I love not only capturing people in photos, but also working with them on set and getting to know them. I’m not the type of loner who takes inspirational shots in an empty studio. I feel most creative in the company of a proven, professional crew, when the set is full of life. I have always treated all my co-workers with respect and culture, trying to create a positive atmosphere, regardless of whether I am photographing a headline star, a child or a professional model presenting a client’s product.

Portrait photoshoots in Krakow

When I photograph people, I try to make the photos highlight what is beautiful and worth showing in each of the people photographed. First of all, the subject should be satisfied with the photos, and only then should I be satisfied. I do not strive for originality at any cost and I am ready to subordinate my artistic ego to customer satisfaction. Contrary to common trends, I try to take photos so that they do not require dozens of hours of processing. And I succeed 😉 That’s why my clients usually don’t wait long for photos – no matter if it’s a portrait, an advertising photo or a reportage, it has to be done on set so that the subsequent processing is just the icing on the cake, not the cake itself 😉

The key to a successful session – atmosphere and efficiency

The next key word is EFFICIENCY. Years of work and experience allow me to work very efficiently. On set, I avoid unnecessary theater, extending the session and processing time just to justify the higher price with the number of hours devoted to the client. In my case, the client pays for experience and knowledge, which guarantee quality and translate into speed of work. Many of my best portrait sessions (for independent reasons) could only last 30-40 minutes and yet the effect was satisfying for both me and the model.

After one of the acting sessions, I received the following text message: „As my comment, I will use a quote from the agent who saw the photos and said: „These photos look like you were in the studio for two days,” and we were there for an hour… Thanks Paweł!

Collaboration with stars

My respect for people, ability to create a good atmosphere and quality of work resulted in cooperation with many stars. In front of my lens were: Jan Peszek, Marieta Żukowska, Joanna Koroniewska, Aldona Jankowska, Justyna Kowalczyk, Maja Hirsch, Magdalena Turzeniewicz, Eryk Lubos, Krystian Wieczorek, Bartłomiej Topa, Sławomir Orzechowski, Michał Żurawski, Piotr Bałtroczyk, Bartek Waga, Michał Lewandowski, Wojtek Trela, Sebastian Fabijański and many other well-known and liked faces.

I know how to make you the star of your own session – write and arrange photos!

Below are some videos of the so-called backstage from the sessions I participated in.
