There is no single price „per session” because each session is slightly different. You can create some general price proposals, but a professional photographer will ask you about your expectations, the number of photos you would like to receive at the end, some inspirations (to get to know your style) and only then will he give you the final price. And remember that different types of sessions require different amounts of work, so the price for regular portraits will be different than for a nude session. Fixed session prices are apparently beneficial because the client has the impression that she is treated „equally with others”. The problem is that such prices are average, so you will either overpay unnecessarily or the photographer will be frustrated that he has more work than expected and this often affects the results.
What to wear for a women’s session?
It all depends on what session you book. It’s a good idea to talk to the photographer and ask for advice. An experienced specialist will know what to suggest. For example, when going to a business session, avoid very flashy patterns and take both light and dark items with you. If you are going for a boudoir, sensual or nude session, do not wear tight clothes and underwear – you will waste time waiting for your skin to return to its optimal appearance.
Generally, for a women’s session, you should dress comfortably and in clothes that you feel good in. This is not necessarily a good time for experiments, but if you have a bit of madness in you, the world belongs to the brave 😉
Where to do sessions in Krakow?
Look for photographers with experience, with an extensive portfolio and references. Don’t look for the lowest price – there is a good chance that you will spend double the money because the effects of the session will be poor and you will look for someone else to repeat it. If you are going for a nude or sensual session and you have some concerns, know that you have the right to them – just ask if you can come to the session with someone. A professional photographer won’t mind. Of course, the assistance should not disturb the session directly on the set, but a discreet presence in the waiting room will not disturb anyone and you will feel safer – this will also contribute to the successful outcome of the session.
